Innovative Future – Prospective Technological Pathways!

I am Ed Agbor a scholar-practitioner in the field of computer science and information technology having an academic background including a master’s degree in computer science with a concentration in Data Sciences; a bachelor degree in information technology with specification in Application Development as well as an  Associate Degree in Programming. Career-wise, I am a Senior Data Analyst managing the enterprise data warehouse, creating reports, developing dashboards, and managing data integrations across different platforms.

Innovative Future – Prospective Technological Pathways!


This blog primarily focuses on discussions regarding the prospective pathways for advancements in information and digital technologies. Considerations would also be taking into the challenges and roadblocks as well as possible forces impacting or affecting the different technological trends. This takes consideration of the different pathways and trajectories into novel innovative ideas and potential innovations based on both the past and current trends. The objective of this blog is to publish content on technological innovations driven by the development of futuring skillsets through a leveraging of diverse approaches facilitated by guided domain experts using both formal methods of innovation and diffusion of innovation (CTU, 2021).

Futuring and Innovation
The project for creating this blog is initiated in fulfilling requirements for CS875 – Futuring and Innovation requirement during which different approaches and skillsets in innovation are explored. It is expedient to mention that innovation brings additional value to businesses and improves life by introducing different approaches to solving existing problems while futuring provides capabilities for predicting the future depending on current trends. Thus, I hope to put these together for the enhancement of capabilities in providing solutions to future problems based on the current trends.

  The concepts of forecasting and prediction are geared towards future occurrences. Though this similarity in orientation or focus, both concepts has a thin line of differentiation that through could be blurred by contextual usage still shows the existence of a difference between these two concepts.
